Aloe vera extract is well-known for its soothing and moisturizing properties for the skin. It has anti-inflammatory effects and provides relief, helping to calm irritated skin.

Research

  1. Wound Healing: A study published in the "Journal of Ethnopharmacology" found that applying Aloe vera gel to wounds may accelerate the healing process. The compounds in the gel exhibit anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, promoting faster wound closure and reducing the risk of infection.

  2. Skin Health: Research published in "Phytotherapy Research" suggests that Aloe vera may be effective in treating mild to moderate acne. Using Aloe vera gel for four weeks showed a reduction in acne lesions due to its anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects.

  3. Antidiabetic Properties: A study in the "Journal of Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders" found that Aloe vera supplementation can help lower blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Researchers observed a significant reduction in blood sugar levels and an improvement in lipid profiles.

  4. Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Effects: Research in the "International Journal of Inflammation" analyzed the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of Aloe vera. The results indicate that compounds in Aloe vera may help reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals, which is beneficial in preventing chronic diseases.

Wild rose extract supports the proper functioning of joints and reduces oxidative stress.

Research

Rosa canina, commonly known as dog rose, is valued for its numerous health benefits. The fruits of this plant are a rich source of vitamin C, which supports the immune system. Additionally, the flavonoids and carotenoids contained in them act as powerful antioxidants, protecting cells from oxidative stress. Extracts from Rosa canina exhibit anti-inflammatory properties, alleviating symptoms of joint diseases, and support cardiovascular health. Dog rose is also used to improve digestion and in cosmetics.

  1. Impact on Joint Health: Chrubasik JE, Roufogalis BD, Wagner H, Chrubasik S, 2008. The study showed that supplementation with dog rose fruit extract can reduce joint pain and improve mobility in patients with osteoarthritis. The results suggest that dog rose can be an effective adjunct in the treatment of joint pain.

  2. Effect on Reducing Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis: Winther K, Rein E, Kharazmi A, 2007. The study suggests that dog rose fruit extract can reduce the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, including joint pain and stiffness, indicating its potential anti-inflammatory properties.

  3. Improvement of Immune System Function: Hegarty VM, Kirby A, Coffee HC, 2005. The study found that supplementation with dog rose can support the immune system by increasing the activity of immune cells and the production of antibodies.

  4. Antioxidant Properties and Protection Against Oxidative Stress: Lattanzio F, Greco E, Carretta D, Cervellati R, Govoni P, Speroni E, 2011. The study demonstrated that dog rose fruits have strong antioxidant properties that can protect cells from oxidative stress, which may positively affect cardiovascular health and overall body condition.

Polecam
