INGREDIENTS IN Artrepain+

Molybdenum (Mo) is a trace element that plays a crucial role in the body, despite being present in small amounts. In medicine, its deficiencies can lead to health issues, such as metabolic disorders. Molybdenum supports the function of enzymes, which is essential for the proper absorption of nutrients, including iron. In cosmetics, molybdenum is used in some products aimed at improving the condition of the skin and hair. Its antioxidant properties can support cell regeneration and protect against the effects of free radicals.

Research

  1. Role of molybdenum in enzymatic metabolism: Molybdenum acts as a cofactor for enzymes such as xanthine oxidase, which breaks down purines in the body, aiding metabolism and the elimination of uric acid. Studies show that molybdenum-dependent enzymes are essential for redox processes and sulfur metabolism (Linus Pauling Institute) (MDPI)

  2. Support for liver health: Molybdenum is being studied for its role in reducing oxidative stress in the liver, particularly in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and hepatocellular carcinoma. Molybdenum-dependent enzymes, such as mitochondrial amidoxime reducing component (mARC), may play a role in detoxification and liver protection (MDPI).

  3. Use of molybdenum in the treatment of genetic disorders: Research suggests that molybdenum may be effective in treating certain rare genetic disorders, such as molybdenum cofactor deficiency, which leads to the accumulation of toxic sulfur compounds in the body. Molybdenum therapies can help prevent neurological damage in patients (Office of Dietary Supplements).

  4. Anti-cancer effects: Molybdenum is being studied for its impact on cancer processes, particularly in the context of enzymes like xanthine oxidase, which may increase the risk of oxidative stress and related cell damage, leading to cancer development. Controlling these processes with molybdenum may potentially reduce the risk of certain types of cancer (MDPI).

Boswellia Serrata extract inhibits the degradation of glycosaminoglycans, which supports the condition of the musculoskeletal system and has a soothing effect.

Research

Boswellia serrata, also known as Indian frankincense, has been valued for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Its medicinal properties are mainly attributed to boswellic acids, which exhibit strong anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidant effects. Boswellia serrata is often used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as arthritis, bowel diseases, and various autoimmune disorders. Additionally, research suggests that Boswellia serrata extract may support respiratory health, improve nervous system functions, and promote skin health.

  1. Impact on Arthritis: S. S. Sengupta, S. Krishnan, 2010. A study demonstrated that supplementation with Boswellia serrata extract significantly reduces pain and improves joint function in patients with osteoarthritis. The anti-inflammatory action of boswellic acids helps reduce swelling and increase joint mobility.

  2. Anti-inflammatory Action in Bowel Diseases: A. Gupta, R. B. Khajuria, 2001. Studies on patients with ulcerative colitis showed that Boswellia serrata could be an effective anti-inflammatory agent, reducing disease symptoms and improving patients' quality of life. This effect is comparable to that of standard anti-inflammatory drugs but with fewer side effects.

  3. Anticancer Properties: J. H. Park, K. S. Park, 2009. Research suggests that boswellic acids may have anticancer properties by inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells and inducing apoptosis. Specifically, in vitro studies have shown that Boswellia serrata extract can inhibit the growth of breast and prostate cancer cells.

  4. Improvement of Respiratory System Function: P. Ernst, T. S. Barnes, 2006. A study indicated that Boswellia serrata could improve respiratory system function by reducing asthma symptoms. Boswellia serrata extract decreases inflammation in the airways and improves airflow, leading to the alleviation of asthma symptoms and enhancing patients' quality of life.

Boswellia serrata is a plant with versatile medicinal properties, supporting the treatment of numerous inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, and its effects are backed by extensive scientific research.

Achyranthes bidentata supports immunity and the removal of free radicals, strengthens the heart, and alleviates inflammation.

Super !
